Charge 6 band faulty

The band on my Charge 6 was definitely faulty and now I've sadly lost it to the ocean while going on a casual swim last week. I tightened to the smallest possible hole and now I've lost another $150+. I used the strap that came in the box and am just so disappointed. I submitted a complaint to fitbit but never heard back

Hey there @ss888, welcome to the Community.

I'm so sorry to hear about your experience. Losing your Charge 6 and the band is really frustrating. It sounds like you've taken all the necessary precautions by tightening the band, so it's unfortunate that it still happened.

I'd recommend reaching out to our customer support team again. Sometimes, there can be delays in responses. They will be able to assist you with a replacement or provide further information on the faulty band.

Mine disappeared down a lift shaft . Fitbit won’t accept it’s a fault despite buying a second strap , still fell off then vanished never to be seen again.  Have had fitbits for ten or more years.  Just replaced & got the newer model.  They care not .   AVOID !

I have already had an email exchange.

The watch strap one and two would not stay attached to the main body. That
suggests there was a fault on the body.

As it’s lost , no one is interested. That’s not fair .
