Charge 6 bands constantly popping off!

So I bought a Charge 6 upgrade from the 5 a few weeks ago and within a day I had lost the watch somewhere because the band just popped off.  After a desperate search I decided to just buy another one and instant regret sunk in when within 20 minutes of wearing it the band just popped off when I brushed against my bed frame.  Thankfully I noticed it and put it back on, but I've noticed over the past few weeks the band constantly just pops off with the slightest but of awkward pressure.  I'm a mechanic, so I'm using my hands all day, and I've NEVER had this problem with any other fitbit over almost a decade.  I'm constantly checking my wrist making sure it hasn't just decided to leap off...  and it's becoming irritating.  It makes me just not want to wear a fitbit anymore.

I'm gonna ask here if anyone (or if FITBIT themselves, god forbid) have a solution for this?  Honestly if it pops off one more time I'm just gonna buy a different brand watch I hate having to be paranoid about it all day.  I wasted $180 once because of this obvious design flaw and I feel like I should just consider the other $180 wasted because it's inevitably going to fall off somewhere I'll lose it again.

I've tried several different bands from different brands because the ones they send with it are trash. All of them pop off just as easy.

Thank you! I never knew it was on there, so I guess I hit on it
accidentally. I'm too old for all this technology stuff! 🥴

I lost my fitbit Charge 6 because the band  popped off while I was shopping. Of course, it was never turned in. I'm not happy. I don't like the silicone bands and a new fitbit band is expensive and I am afraid that will also pop off.

I tried through fitbit and amazon to get a replacement or refund. No way. Filed a dispute with my credit card . They have taken it off my account until they hear from Amazon.

Fitbit really does deserve the loss of you for a Customer along with me. The one I have now was coming off so I cut the release buttons off even with the back of the Fitbit. Then I glued the band onto the Fitbit, so far it’s been staying on. But it will absolutely be my last Fitbit.

Can I ask if when you wore your fitbit you positioned it at least one index
finger width above your wristbone?

That is a fitbit recommendation because if you wear it closer to the top of
your hand or on the wristbone the small lugs that hold the band to the
tracker watch face can be depressed and the item may then fall of without
you noticing.

I also think if someone has a hairy wrist the band should be worn slightly
looser same goes is the wrist area is muscley.

Just my thoughts from observations. 💞

I bought a Sense 2 and have the same problem.  I've only had the watch for 40 days, purchased on Amazon.  Also, not liking things as much since Google took over.  All is very frustrating.

I have used the listen for the click but the band continues to pop off.  I think i may return it if possible.

I've had the same problem. What do you do?

Return it or use a closed band which is what I chose to do. Here’s a link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BGXHLGCT?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I tried cutting back the clips like someone suggested, that didn’t work either. After the last time it fell and hit a ceramic tile floor, it cracked the face, I conceded….since fitbit customer service had no remedy, I bought a competitor band and love it. No annual fee to access programs either.

Does this popping off also affect the Charge 5? I would buy the 5 pebble
just to be able to wear dress-up bands occasionally.

ALL of the Fitbit bands pop off. Now I've finally lost my fit bit. They fall off when I'm Crossing the street and cars are coming! They fall of when I'm cleaning my house. They fall off when I'm walking my dog. They fall off when I'm on ladders.

They are dangerous. Fitbit has sent me numerous replacement bands, They all fall off! They fell off my Versa 2, they fell off my Versa 3, now I've lost my Charge 6.

Google is one of the biggest, richest companies in the world! Why can't they get me a band that will keep my fit bit on my wrist.

And the banks cause a rash, so I have to keep switching arms. The last rash Burned my arm, It look weeks to resolve.

Well lucky you. I've returned them and returned them and gotten new bands from Fitbit and offbrand bands, and they ALL FALL OFF. And the Fitbit bands make my arms break out in a painful, burning rash anyway. WHY CAN"T THEY SOLVE THIS?

---

There was an issue with my Versa 2, there was an issue with my Versa 3. Now there's an issue with my Charge 6. THE ISSUE IS WITH GOOGLE.

---

Oh, it happened on my Versa 2, my Versa 3, and now my Charge 6. I have finally lost my Charge 6.

Are you sure you are fitting the bands correctly?

Do you push the little plugs right into their fixing hole until there is a
definite click?

What colour are the bands that pop off?

Did you wear the fitbit one finger width above your wristbone?

🤔

What a bummer! I finally found one that keeps it on, but it isn't pretty
or dainty. It is available in different colors. It does sort of resemble a
little girl's band.

The same thing has happened to me with the Versa 2 and the Versa 3 and now the Charge 6. This time I lost it. Fit Bit support hung up on me twice. They told me all I can do is find the lost watch. I've read all that chat responses about this, I've tried multiple Fitbit bands, and other kinds of bands. Besides popping off at inopportune times, (like crossing the street in traffic, while walking a rambunctious dog, while being trailed by someone's dog off leash), the Fitbit band gives me a rash.

This is ridiculous. I'm going to try another brand.
