So I bought a Charge 6 upgrade from the 5 a few weeks ago and within a day I had lost the watch somewhere because the band just popped off. After a desperate search I decided to just buy another one and instant regret sunk in when within 20 minutes of wearing it the band just popped off when I brushed against my bed frame. Thankfully I noticed it and put it back on, but I've noticed over the past few weeks the band constantly just pops off with the slightest but of awkward pressure. I'm a mechanic, so I'm using my hands all day, and I've NEVER had this problem with any other fitbit over almost a decade. I'm constantly checking my wrist making sure it hasn't just decided to leap off... and it's becoming irritating. It makes me just not want to wear a fitbit anymore.
I'm gonna ask here if anyone (or if FITBIT themselves, god forbid) have a solution for this? Honestly if it pops off one more time I'm just gonna buy a different brand watch I hate having to be paranoid about it all day. I wasted $180 once because of this obvious design flaw and I feel like I should just consider the other $180 wasted because it's inevitably going to fall off somewhere I'll lose it again.
I've tried several different bands from different brands because the ones they send with it are trash. All of them pop off just as easy.

That's not true. The bands are compatible.

I had the same problem until yesterday and now it is gone. I just got it on June 29,2024 and actually just started wearing it 2 weeks ago. I bought one about 7 months ago and was using it. My insurance allowed me to get a new one. I waited until I sold the one I bought for less than half of what I paid for it to wear the new one. NowI have none. Have been wearing Fitbit since 2013. The first one occasionally fell off so I bought clip case for it and used it that way. Wore it that way until it died . Bought another one and wore it the same way. Updated and now I have none. I am requesting a replacement for defective product but we will see. I am on fixed income at the age of 71 so spending money on another isn't possible. Husband and granddaughter wear apple watches with no problem.

I have my new charge 6 band pop off as well. the long band piece kept disconnecting. I tried several times to reconnect it. Finally while the fitbit was off my wrist, I kept connecting the pieces together and apply a little pressure until the last time it clicked in and it was snug. It has not popped off in over 6 days. Just my experience.......

I bought the Charge 6 in May along with 2 different metal bands so I don't have to wear the black band all the time. The metal bands constantly disconnect. I returned them to Amazon and purchased more bands--different brands from the first--and they disconnect as well. I'm convinced it's a design flaw. I had a Versa for years and never had any issues with the bands but wanted a smaller base. Extremely disappointing!

Mine does the same thing 🤬🤬🤬🤬 I even returned the first one and repurchased another and does the same thing, I prefer the sport band and the sport bands were bought directly from Fitbit in both black & white and now I have a charge 6 I can’t wear and 2 extra bands that pop off:double_exclamation_mark:

I upgraded from a Charge 5 to 6 after the 5 took a ride in the washing machine.
I don't like the band which comes with Fitbit. The fake leather seems to lead to a rash when I sweat.
So I purchased an off-brand on Amazon for the Charge 5. Worked great. Did the same for the Charge 6 and it is constantly popping out of the bottom side of the display.
And what is weird, is if I manually try to pull it out. It's really tough to do.
I really have not liked the Charge 6 -- Zone minutes are inconsisten in how you can accumulate them. I have learned if you swing your watch arm while walking at a fast pace you will earn them. If you don't swing your arms, you probably won't. I will probably move on to a different brand from here after being with Fitbit since the Zip back in the early days. Product seems to have taken a down turn unless you buy one of the really expensive versions.
