Hi,
I have had the Fitbit charge 6 for nearly 2 weeks and yesterday the screen went blank and had at least 20% battery still. I tried to charge it but nothing is coming up on the screen. when I plug the charger into the Fitbit it vibrates, also if i push the button on the side of the watch it vibrates.
I have followed the steps by switching to different plug and still no luck and I have tried multiple times to reset the device via the charger button (pushing 3 times in 8 seconds) As well as pulling the cable in and out of the plug to hard reset it but still no luck.
Is there a way to do a hard reset of the device via the button? Phone will not find or sync to the device either as it says the battery is low.
Also to add i have tried cleaning the back of the watch charging inlet as well as the charger itself.

Hi, I think I had the same problem, my screen turned white, I had the charge 6 for two months and it failed, contacted support but there is no solution for this issue, they promised a refund, which doesn´t cover the import taxes and other costs.
Short title to this Charge 6: VERY BAD PRODUCT

I completely agree. Since I purchased the Charge 2, I haven't had a single Fitbit Charge product last more than nine months. This experience isn't unique to me; everyone I've recommended one to has faced the same issue. Beyond basic troubleshooting that occasionally revives a frozen device, the only solution is to replace it, buying one is essentially a subscription model. Once the warranty expires, you'll find yourself needing to purchase another. Sure, they sometimes provide a discount on a new unit, but it ultimately amounts to a hardware subscription.
I'm not here to just hate on Fitbit, when it works, its the best, but I'm just sick of shelling out for a new device every year now because of how unreliable they are.

To be fair, I also have a 4 that is still working (apart from a dim screen), but it was replaced once so I cant give it a 100% positive review. In general I did hear that the 4 was also a fairly reliable model, things went rapidly downhill with the 5 and the 6 was just a rushed updated to that because of all the issues. Lets see about the 7, im up for renewing my hardware subscription 😛

I am experiencing the same issue, briefly I can see the clock face before the grey screen shows, I am going to return this to the store. In NZ we have a great consumer guarantees act, this is only 6 months old.
