Charge 6 blank screen

I’ve had my Charge 6 for about a month and not had any problems with it. All of a sudden, the screen has gone blank. It’s fully charged and synched up with my phone so it’s still registering everything.  I’ve tried to restart it several times with no joy and I’ve read other users having the same problem. Is this a consistent issue with Fitbit Charge watches?

Hi @jes1376. A warm welcome to the community forums.

Thank you for taking the time to share with me these details regarding this difficulty and for trying to fix it on your own.

Please try to sync the device in the Fitbit app:

  • From the Today tab in the app, tap the devices icon at the top-left corner.
  • Tap Charge 6.
  • Sync Now.

Now, restart the device as indicated here: How do I restart my Fitbit device.  Restarting the device will not delete your data.

If restarting doesn't resolve the issue, change your clock face. If you manage to solve the difficulty you can go back to the original clock face.

Thanks for coming back to me with possible resolutions to my issue.  None of them have worked and I still have a blank screen. The haptics are still working when I have any notifications and as I mentioned before, it’s still registering everything else including steps and sleep.

I’ve left it a couple of days and tried all the possible resolutions again and still nothing on the screen.  Haptics are still responsive and tracking it still working as I’ve synched up the watch with my phone and it’s recorded my movements from yesterday as well as my sleep overnight.

Hello @jes1376

Since you've tried the recommended troubleshooting more than once without success, the next step would be to contact Support (<-- click link). Complete the prompts until you get the option to chat or call.

Depending on how long you've had your Charge 6, you might have options under warranty.
