5 or 10 times per week my Fitbit does that wild buzzing and animation and congratulates me for hitting anywhere from 750 to 10,000 zone minutes. Yes, 10,000! One day it gave me 1,000 as I got out of bed in the morning. I rebooted yesterday, and it was quiet until today, when it gave me 1,000 again this morning. It keeps the correct reading on the watch face, and in the app. Right now it is 104, not the 1,000 animation I “got” this morning. Any ideas?

Dear RiekoC,
Yes it did fix it! This is amazing to me. I had my Mom’s birth year in there, 1919, for security purposes. So much for security. Well I added my own and the problem went away. This means that either centenarians get quadruple minutes, or more, or a programmer used a two-digit age field and going over 99 made it go nuts! Many thanks for this fix!

Hello there, @AliCh, welcome to the Fitbit Community.
Thanks for letting me know about this situation in regards to the Active Zone minutes tracked by your Charge 6.
I was able to check in the system and I could see you have plenty of Active Zone minutes and it doesn't match with the other accurate information.
I recommend you to restart your device following the steps in this article, since the restart you mentioned seems not have worked out. Also, double check you wear the Charge 6 correctly.
Use your Charge 6 after these steps and let me know if it continued to congratulate you for the same.

No, rebooting multiple times with the device and with the charging cord, did not change anything. This morning I got buzzed as usual, for 750 zone minutes this time. But the watch face said 62. I have been wearing fitbit charges for years and everything else is correct. I can put up with these superhero celebrations, but it is weird. Maybe it got hit by a cosmic ray.

Hello @AliCh
You might want to confirm your birth year is correct in your Google account. Some users discovered their birth year was set to 1900 in their Google account. When they corrected their birth year, their AZM numbers went back to normal.

Many thanks, RiekoC…indeed the birth year was wrong. I reset it and let you know in a few days!

Hi @AliCh
Thanks for letting me know that you corrected the birth year in your Google account. That should take care of the overabundance of AZM .
