Charge 6 - device is tracking data being out of service

Charge 6 been dead for 2.5mos but still sending me weekly stats that say I am exercising..  week of May 26th: 26898 steps 12.02mi, Week of June2: 18,883steps, 8.51mi, Week of june 9: 21,420steps 9.59mi, week of june 16: 16,101 7.16, week of june 23, 10,645    4.68, june 30: 11,084     4.85.................Umm why should I believe anything it says now? Doubt I will buy another to replace it.

Let me explain what might be the reason you are seeing activity stats on your Fitbit app.

It may be possible that you have setup de Mobiletrack feature on your Firbit app. With this feature, you allow low-power step sensors inside your phone to track your steps and send the data to the Fitbit app.

To know you have installed Mobiletrack to your Fitbit app, follow the steps below:

  1. Log into the Fitbit app and tap the Today tab > Devices.
  2. Under "connected devices"you'll see "mobile" as connected.

You can disconnect Mobiletrack from the app anytime you want. for more information about this topic, see How do I track my steps with Fitbit with my phone?
