Charge 6 didn't detect irregular heart rhythm during AFib

ANSWERED

I had a major Afib event confirmed by ECG. In the middle of it my Fitbit Charge 6 showed “analyzed” and no irregular rhythm was found. The heart rate reading clearly showed my heart rate high and fluctuating widely. Do others have this problem?

@SunsetRunner   I use a 24 hour clock, even though I live in the US.  If I understand your screenshot correctly  -- you took that screenshot at 11:12 AM today and your data was last analyzed 12:32 PM yesterday.

You won't get an irregular rhythm notification during an episode, only after the fact, after the data has been analyzed.

Hello @SunsetRunner and welcome to the Community.  I hope I can shed some light on your experience.  You wrote "analyzed" in your post, but the Irregular Rhythm Notifications aren't analyzed live.  My Irregular Rhythm Notifications history says it is On & checking, but it was last analyzed over four hours ago.  Sometimes it says it was analyzed over six hours ago.

To clarify you’ll see the screen shot was 11:12 PM not AM, it was late the same day as the Afib. I captured the info on the day of the event and posted on this site a couple days later

This site is useless. I asked if anyone else has had this experience and instead I’m told I don’t know how the app works- I do. Now it shows as answered and I have a “best answer”. Do you work for Fitbit?

You said the app doesn’t give an exact time, clearly mine does. You said my screen shot was AM clearly it was PM. You said I wouldn’t get a notification during an episode, true but the app showed the time when the analysis was made and the time was during the episode.
