Charge 6 disappointment

This is my 8th year of wearing fitbit products. Got my first for my 40th birthday and a week ago got the new Charge 6. I have been wearing all fitbit products on the same arm and on same spot and never had any problems. Right away the first thing I had to do was shave that spot on my arm as the charge couldn't find my heart beat.

So the problems so far:

1. The band is so uncomfortable and I'm allergic it seems.

2. daily heart rate tracking has large gaps where the band doesn't pick up my heart rate.

3. sleep tracking has been a joke with the band ending my sleep time 2 to 3 hours early each day.

4. The gps tracking has been so off. I ran the same park today as I have for years and I'm not sure where the band told GPS I had gone. Good thing the wife was with me or I would have had some explaining to do.

Overall, I am really disappointed with band so far.

Bought a new band - feels great and is so much more comfortable.

Sleep tracking is absolutely atrocious.

I walk up 12 flights of stairs every day, and so far my count is ZERO every single day....

Would contact customer support and point out these issues. Sounds like a faulty device to me. It’s unlucky but these things happen. Ask for refund and buy a new charge 6. I’m sure google happily replace under warranty but all these devices are refurbished. Iv got the same sport band the original doesn’t work for me too. Charge 6 doesn’t count stairs but you should still see steps going up.
