Have a fitbit charge 6 I bought November 2023. Ran recently and only my steps were tracked. Tried upgrading the app and miles not tracking. Tried resetting the watch and miles not tracking. Please any advice would be appreciated. Watch does not track miles and only tracks steps.

Fitbit charge 6 does not track miles. Tried resetting, tried upgrading the app and tried different gallery but miles not tracked. Used to track miles without GPS.

Hello @Rundoc86

There is currently a bug that is affecting distance tracking. The team is aware of the bug.

One user doing troubleshooting discovered that they were able to get distance tracking again when they turned off automatic stride and manually set a stride length in the Fitbit app. Unfortunately, we've seen that this workaround doesn't work for all users seeing this problem.

If you want to try this workaround as a temporary solution, this help article has the steps to manually set the stride length in the Fitbit app (<-- click link)

Hopefully, it won't take too long for a fix so we don't have to use a workaround.

Any way to get FitBit to let us know when they fix this? So I can change it back to auto-stride?? Lol, asking too much?

Hello @ag360

I wish we knew when the fix is rolling out. However, that's not information that they share with us.

As soon as we get an update that there's a fix rolling out, we'll report it right away.

@RiekoC Thank you for your help.

@Rundoc86 @ag360  A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your messages.

As mentioned by our friend @RiekoC , our team is aware of the situation and is working on a solution to it.

Many users have now confirmed that they were able to fix it by entering the stride length themselves. It's worth a try until our team has worked on the solution.
You can find instructions for this here:Can I change my stride length in my Fitbit account?

Please follow this thread where all updates will be posted. Distance appears as 0 after sync
