I'm new to fitness devices and am disappointed in the Charge 6 as far as sleep score. I often wake in the middle of the night and find that the Fitbit only records one sleep session. Also, it does not record naps. The current sleep score is useless for a senior like me. My husband's Garmin records all his sleeps and even reminds him to take a nap if he had a bad night. Is there any way to make the Fitbit record all sleep sessions?

Hello @JoDol
Sorry to see you're having problems with sleep tracking. Have you tried editing your sleep session in the app to include the missing time?
Your Charge 6 has the ability to record naps that are at least an hour long. If your nap is shorter than an hour, there won't be a sleep log for it.
My apologies if you've already reviewed this help page. If you haven't, there's a lot of good information here to help explain how does the Fitbit track sleep (<-- click link)

1. No, I haven't edited the sleep session in the app to include the missing time. That's what I bought the FitBit to do for me. It appears to me that FitBit only records sleep properly if you don't have sleep problems. Occasionally it records two sessions, but the shorter session does not have the same graph showing sleep levels. I'm guessing that the shorter session does not show if it is less than an hour.
2. What's the basis of requiring an hour to record sleep? I think 1/2 hour would be better. I also think that I should be able to edit this hidden setting so that it fits with my lifestyle.

Hello @JoDol
Every now & then, my sleep isn't correctly tracked in the Fitbit app. That's when I edit my sleep log to correct the sleep start/wake time or combine two sessions into a single sleep session. I have noticed that my sleep tracking is not as good on nights when I'm having sleeping problems.
You can submit a feature request in the Product Feedback forum (<-- click link) to change how naps are tracked. I understand the developers monitor this forum to see what features are being requested for potential future implementation.

I agree with you. Why bother buying the device if we have to manually keep track?
I’m having the same issue. This morning it reports I slept from 6am to 8:15. Not true at all. It completely missed my full night of sleep from midnight to 5 then it picked up 6 to 8:15. This all started in the past few days.

All of the replies above relate to my problem. Now how do we get answers to make our charge six record the entire night of sleep. Most people awake more than once at night. I do and then it only records one of the sessions.
