Someone please help!
This has been going on for months, my Charge 6 doubles (Even Trebles) step count days after I made them. So frustrating, spoils all the fun with friends and makes the tech 'Not Fit For Purpose" Useless accuracy, even doubles active minutes. Someone somewhere must of had the same problem.
Using with Apple iPhone SE (up to date) and NEW Google e-mail - Don't recall having any problems with the old FitBit account.
Does not sync with any other device and have correct date of birth.
There are Three in our group - All with the same watches, settings and profiles and work OK.
Turned off, reset, rebooted - Don't want to re-join and lose all the ten year FitBit History - Something somewhere is messing with the metadata!
Cannot express the seriousness of this, as it really is upsetting as I feel I'm cheating and losing confidence in all the other user data the Fitbit supplies.
Please, please help.

Just been down the Apple Health & Fitness rabbit hole - there are thousands of MetaData relating to steps going right back to old apple device. Can we just delete the Health & Fitness Apps from Apple and just use FitBit?
Is Doubling & Tripling steps just a simple as Apple / FitBit conflict?

Hello @Lady-Dawn
By any chance, do you have your phone as a connected device in the Fitbit app? This is an option that can be used to track steps when a person isn't wearing their Fitbit. For some users, enabling this option has resulted in doubling their steps when they are wearing their Fitbit and carrying their phone.
To check, tap on the device icon in the upper left of the Today page to open the Connected to Fitbit page. Under Devices, you should see your Charge 6. If you see your phone also listed, tap on it and select Disconnect.
Hopefully, this will resolve your step count issue.

Hi @RiekoC , Thanks for the reply,
The Charge 6 Does not sync with any other device and we have correct date of birth.
There are Four Charge 6's in our group, all set up the same, all connected to google accounts and iPhones. All Three working fine, it's just this one that always doubles steps every now and then. Last time was Friday 16th August around 06:00hrs in the Morning

Hello @Lady-Dawn
Thank you for letting us know that your phone isn't a connected device in the Fitbit app.
I'm at a loss as to what else to suggest.
I'm hoping that another iOS user might chime in and provide some insight to the issue you're seeing.

Do you have it synced with other apps? I found that the settings in Google Fit can cause it to double if you don't have the settings tweaked just right. It sets up a kind of infinite loop. I changed mine several times until it stopped. I wish I could remember the exact settings needed, but I'm afraid I don't. Sorry.

Thanks @JSchoeps for the reply,
I think we are sort of right being an Apple Health or Apple Fitness app.
We don't use Google Fit, but could be a similar issue with Apple Health & Apple Fitness Apps.
Want to delete both Apple apps, but don't know the repercussions.
