Can anyone explain why a Charge 6 would fail to show an abnormally high heart rate?
On Monday I had an SVT episode with heart rates of 178 and 198 while resting. The high heart rates are shown on my summaries for that day but at the time it was happening my charge six was showing a heart rate of 75 bpm.
I tried to take an ECG at the time and it then told me it couldn’t produce one because my HR was 198 bpm though it was still showing 75 when I returned to the clock face.
Also, it didn’t alert me to high heart rate, though that was not really necessary!
I spent over an hour yesterday on Fitbit chat where they talked me through switching it off and on again and then advised me to do a workout to test it!
(Also they promised to email me a record of the chat and didn’t.)
I bought the Fitbit specifically so I could track episodes of high heart rate and take ECGs. If it can’t do that, I want a refund.
Any thoughts?

@MB115 I don't wear a Charge 6, so I don't have personal experience with the heart rate you see on the screen compared to your actual heart rate. But I can say that you are trying to use the ECG app for an unapproved reason. The ECG is approved and designed to look for atrial fibrillation. It will give an "Inconclusive: High heart rate" for a heart rate over 120 bpm. It isn't designed or approved to monitor for SVT.
You need to contact Support to ask for a refund.
