Charge 6 fully charged and will sync with app (according to app) but blank display

Charge 6 has blank/black screen. It will vibrate when I press the side but nothing else. I've tried the hard reset using the charger and each of the 3 button pushes will cause a vibrate but charge 6 will not reboot. App shows charge is at 99% and will also manually sync according to app. I've also tried changing the clock face to see if that may correct the problem. The app states it was successful changed but this did not have an effect on the blank display.
