I just replaced my Charge 5 with a Charge 6. Liking the haptic side button a lot. But the sleep data is iffy. I rarely get sleep stages broken out. I even went so far as to wear the Charge 5 on my other wrist and got the usual accurate sleep stage info.
but the worst is the GPS. It is consistently showing distance as 30% longer than the actual distance. I measured the distance with the Strava phone app, a Garmin watch and the Charge 5 and they were all within 1-2% of each other. The Charge 6 was always 30% higher.
rhat means of course all the run data is pretty much useless. Pacing, workout load, recovery, and VO2 max are all completely wrong (by 30%)
is this fixable or should I return the unit to Amazon???

Hello @Rollo99 Are you referring to the built in GPS or the connected GPS ?
If you are not using either then the distance is calculated based on the strid length, which is something that you could adjust or allow the application to measure for you.
To do that you need to click on the icon -> Fitbit Setting > Activity > Strid Length.
Let me know if you need more details.

You might be facing the same issue as above, try to use the connected GPS, it's technically your phone GPS and most of the cases those are very accurate.
Other thing you could update the Strid Length.

My Charge 6 started underestimating the distance that I walk 😞 I track my movement with my Iphone, it is off by a km for instance if I walk 4 km’s it gives me 3 km’s. How can I correct this?

My Charge 6 has just started doing this. Last night I took a walk with both my Garmin and my Fitbit. The garmin gave a distance of a bit over a mile, until I opened the walk for details Fitbit said about the same, but once I opened the walk looked at the map it says .68 of a mile.
