my elliptical has a heart rate monitor and shows that during my 30 minute workout my heart rate is between 130 and 150 BPM’s. My Fitbit will not show my heart rate going higher than 79 after using it for three 30 minute workouts, in the first week of its grand debut at Fitbit. I upgraded from a charge to which I had for five years. My charge two always had the correct heart rate. I have called customer service twice and they have no solution. So far this is a piece of junk. And for Fitbit to claim this has the most accurate heart rate in the market, is an out and out lie. I am giving them one more chance to fix it before I return it to get my money back . I would recommend not purchasing the charge six or any other Fitbit product at this point.
UPDATE: after four calls to customer service, I am done with Fitbit FOREVER! I would NEVER purchase another Fitbit, and would NEVER recommend one to anyone EVER!

Just gone mine today - went for 2 runs, second one was as fast as I can humanly run 1km - about 4:20 mins. Apparently 0 Active Zone Mins - heart rate doesn't work. GPS wouldn't connect during the run, nor afterwards once I got home. This is truly an awful product - I want to return it immediately.

I used my charge 6 for the first time today, did a 4mile walk 78mins and only 25 active minutes recorded. I walk at a fast pace and with my old charges 4&5 would have clocked up at least 70 active mins. Sitting here not moving my heart rate is the same as it was showing when I was walking. Already contemplating sending the charge 6 back. Hr won't seem to go much above 85
