Does anyone else have heart rate dips at the start of a run?
My charge 4 did not do this and was a steady line. The charge 6 HR is all over the place.

A warm welcome to the community forums @JamoC.
Thank you for taking the time to share with me the information regarding this heart rate inquiry with your Charge 6.
Please, take in consideration the following tips:
Fitbit’s heart rate tracking accuracy is affected by your personal physiology, device placement on your arm, and the activity you're doing.

I've seen so many variations with the fitbit 6 HR as to make it almost useless. I've had many older fitbit models in the past, and never had these problems. This is my current theory--
My older fitbits would occasionally lose contact with my skin, or whatever, and would simply not give a HR reading. Makes sense, given that it doesn't actually know what my HR is! I've never had my Charge 6 give me a blank HR reading. I suspect that during those times when it's not getting a good reading, it's guessing. When I would look at my watch with older models, I would see, oh, it needs to be adjusted. But now, I never see a blank reading, so I don't know that it needs to be adjusted, and it just goes on giving me an incorrect reading.

My charge 6 definitively measures heart rate incorrectly/inconsistently - I "upgraded" from charge 5 and the new watch seems to measure correctly initially, but 5-10 minutes into a run the measured heart rate goes down beyond to what is possible. I have read many reviews about this.
