I have bought a new charge 6 and it has been recording a lot of ghost steps, even when the band is kept idle on a table. Please suggest a solution.

Hello @Ashhad
By any chance, did you set up your phone as a connected device? To check:
The Fitbit app has a feature that allows you to use your phone to track your steps & workouts when you're not wearing your Fitbit device. Some people will see additional/double steps in the app when they have this feature enabled.
If this is the case for you, you can tap on Phone and disconnect it in the app. This won't affect how your Charge 6 and the Fitbit app sync.

Hello @Ashhad
Just want to confirm that you're still getting "ghost" steps after removing your phone as a Connected device in the Fitbit app.
By any chance, do you have any other health tracking apps, like Google Fit, connected to your Fitbit app? I've seen some users report that when the other health tracking app syncs with Fitbit, they see additional steps appear in their app.
