Charge 6 is not tracking my sleep data

My Charge 6 has not been tracking my sleep data for a while.  Thought maybe it was a fluke, but it's been more than a week.

Hi there, @fatjeff. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 6 is not tracking your sleep data for a while. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

To better assist you, would you mind confirming if your sleep data is only missing on your Charge 6, but showing up in the Fitbit app or vice versa? If this describes your issue, I'd recommend the following:

- Force close the Fitbit app
- Restart your Charge 6
- Reopen the Fitbit app and allow your Charge 6 to sync

However, if your Charge 6 and Fitbit app are not showing your data, I recommend considering the following in order to get sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

It doesn't show up either place and it was working fine until a week ago.
It started recording very short times and, most nights, nothing at all.

Have not changed how I wear the band nor anything in the app.

I put up with sleep data not being recorded for a long time. After switching from iPhone to Android mobile, every function worked normally so it's clear that it was an iOS software bug.

I woke up early this morning and my sleep data was recorded on both the device and the app. I went back to sleep for a couple of hours more and when I woke up, all of my sleep data has disappeared from the app. It is showing on the Charge 6. I have restarted my device and every installed the app. I have done every step listed that I can find and all of my sleep data including historical data is just gone from the app. What do I do?
