Thank you for responding. My Fitbit charge 6 gives the wrong distance when
I walk. It also gives a very slow and wrong walking pace. I use a run GPS
app on my phone and it’s consistent with my historical walking pace of 20
minute miles. The charge 6 says that my pace is 35 minute miles. I have
the stride length set automatically on my charge 6, and the walking stride
length (greyed out in the Settings / Activity & Wellness / Exercise)
gives a stride length of 29.9 inches. It appears that my charge 6 is not
using 29.9 inches in its calculations. How do I correct this?

I have same issue. Previous fitbit or goggle fit app recorded on average 8 min/km but Fitbit Charge 6 only 12 min/km. There's definitely issues with this model.
