Charge 6 low HR notifications history not updated

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Another chain has been closed to new replies, so starting a new one. My new Charge 6 has notified me of low heart rates. But the app has not updated them in history. Is this an issue with Fitbit, or do I need to do something different than previously donein my setup?

@BjeL   I've been having this same problem with my Sense 2 for about eight months.  My RHR is usually below 50, so I set up the alert to see if the feature works as advertised.   My Sense 2 alerts me, but I have not received the app notification for eight months.  I'll flag this post to get moderator feedback.

Same here. Multiple support events and requests just get closed without resolution. Really disturbs me that they are so deaf and ignorant of user problems. They even told me that others are not reporting this yet I see this community and the Android app (FitBit) community reporting the same problem..

Me too, low heart rate alert on my charge 6 but not recorded in App and I can’t track alert anywhere.
Also, charge 6 is NOT alerting me to high heart rate and the app is showing it for day but no record of alert of any kind.
AND, charge 6 nor App is picking up or showing irregular heartbeat but my digital blood pressure monitor is recording irregular heartbeat.
I can feel the irregular beat, why can’t my charge 6.
I am so aware of fast, slow & irregular beating but my charge 6 isn’t giving me same info.
why can’t I go into the irregular heart beat settings and have it check RIGHT THEN for beat?? It’s usually been hours since it has checked for it at the time I look. No matter how often I go back to it the time it checked it was hrs ago & it hasn’t changed.

I've been told the same thing since the beginning of the year. I hope you
followup and prevent this thread from being closed like all the others.
Thanks

@Grannymom   I want to point out something about the Irregular rhythm notifications.  The feature is designed and approved to look for an irregular rhythm that looks like atrial fibrillation.  I participated in the Fitbit study that helped develop the feature.  Many people have palpitations and extra heart beats.  But the feature is looking for possible atrial fibrillation.  I also want to add that both the high and low heart rate alerts need a minimum of 10 minutes at rest to be detected.

I got my charge 6 on 12 of may. I did not set low heart notifications but it gave me an automatic one a couple of weeks ago for a resting heart rate of 39. This showed on the watch and also shows in the app. May be its just the automatic ones that show?

Hi, can you please confirm phone model, and if the alert in the app allowed
you to log a comment and have it stored in the low heart rate log on the
"you" tab alongside high heart rate and AFib alerts? I see my low heart
rate in the app on the heart rate graph but they are not being recorded in
the log. Thanks.

A Samsung A25

The app allowed me to log any symptoms and factors and yes its stored under low heart rates I click in to it to the 39 BPM then if click on that takes me to the survey results that it gave me on the app to complete

I have iPhone 7 and the app didn’t offer me chance to make comment.

Mine is set up for automatic so I’m not sure. I think it has a hiccup that needs ironed out and I just haven’t figured out how to find it yet.
Yesterday it recorded a 188 heart beat and didn’t warn me. Thankfully, I was awake and already aware. But I was NOT “RESTING” as they call it. It interprets my tachycardia episodes as exercise and I don’t know if that can be changed somehow.
I think the heart rate notices are for resting heart rates. Maybe I need to turn off exercises but I’m not sure I would get any recording of episodes if I do.
Thank you for your response.
If I learn anything new I’ll let you know.

Thanks, I have Google Pixel 6 and same for me. Watch asks me to open on
App but that never works. I tried all kinds of settings for the heart rate
with custom and standard thresholds. The watch notifies me correctly all
the time but it's never recorded in the app.

I’ve been in app off and on all day & cannot figure it out yet.
Learned that low & high heart rate notifications are only for when you are totally still for at least 10 minutes or asleep. Also, aFib is not a real time notification, it is accumulative of heart rhythm readings for a non-specific time period, not number of heart beats. I knew it was rhythm rather than beats but I didn’t realized it was not in real time, so notice is delayed.
I’m still looking for more info.

I have not found anymore info on problem.
But, I’ve had more things not fall into place.
At least 3 times, my ECG has warned me of AFib rhythm and my Charge 6 shows it in the ECG history, but AFib history still says I’ve not received any AFib notices. High heart rate and low heart rate histories say I have no notices. But, in my daily records and my ECG history inconclusive results both show I’ve had rates up to 189, 194 et al and down to 42. So we definitely need an update to fix the bugs, please.

I’ve got back up monitors that I check with and knowledge that it’s stress that’s doing this to me but imagine the people that have no idea. FitBit is no medical device, but yet in away it is a kind of first line notice.
Keep in touch 👵
