Charge 6 no longer giving sleep score

Suddenly this week, Fitbit no longer gives sleep scores or other sleep data. The only information it gives is when I went to sleep and when I woke up. I actually looked forward to improving my metrics, but now I have no data.

Honestly I don't need a fitness app to tell me the hours that I sleep.

(I'm on premium trial offered when I bought a new pixel and watch--but honestly, why would I continue paying for this when the trial is over?)

Moderator edit: clarified subject.

Hi @sulanmu7 are you sleep periods at least 3 hours recorded? Do you have a consistent heart reading throughout the night?

Your app should be telling you why you are only seeing simple sleep. Oops, I had to check, this feature has been removed.

Welcome to the forums @sulanmu7

Thank you for sharing with me the details regarding this inconvenience that you are experiencing with Charge 6.

Please, check the following possible causes:

  • You might have been sleeping in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight. Learn how to wear your device for optimal sleep tracking.
  • You might have used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app instead of simply wearing your device to bed. For more information on automatic sleep tracking, refer to How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • Sleep stages require at least 3 hours of sleep. If you slept for less than 3 hours, you won’t receive sleep stages.
  • Your device's battery might be critically low. To check your current battery level, refer to How do I charge my Fitbit device?

In addition, try to confirm whether you are having difficulties with heart rate or you are having issues with syincing the data tracked by your device:

How do I track heart rate with my Fitbit device?.

Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
