I've had my Charge 6 for about three months.
I use it to track my workouts – lifting weights in the gym, running, climbing, etc. Today, suddenly all my non-walking activities/workouts started disappearing from the Fitbit app. As I moved back through the weeks, they would briefly appear and disappear. I have now lost weeks of workouts. However, bizarrely, all the walking activities remain!
I went to the gym today, tracked the workout as usual by starting the activity on the watch, completed the workout, and synched the Fitbit with my phone. The workout just disappeared, and Fitbit said I had 0 exercise for the day. I just went for a walk and it logged the walk perfectly.
I have tried updating the Fitbit, restarting the Fitbit, restarting my phone, looking on the browser dashboard on my laptop. Nothing. I just want to log my workouts!
Can anyone help or advise?

The past two weeks I’ve noticed that even when I tell my charge 6 I am going for a walk or run, it will not log it. Really frustrating. I hope Fitbit is doing something about it.

Same- I have no data starting mid-Aug. I chatted with support awhile ago. Supposedly a known issue. Hopefully update has it fixed.

Ran a 5k this morning and still didn't log it in the app. Only thing that seems to work for me is walking.

Exercises from my charge 6 aren't showing on the app in my iphone. Very frustrating.
Also, my Peloton workouts aren't uploading to the app either.
Any suggestions gratefully received. I bought a fitbit as it was meant to be compatible with Peloton.

Hello @stephiebawbag
I believe there's an issue on the Fitbit side that is affecting exercise data and step count syncing. I've seen reports from multiple users about this starting around the beginning of the month. My exercise data started disappearing last week. Fortunately, it came back the next day. From the user reports I've seen, it seems that many iOS users are still affected by the issue.
For what it's worth, a user experiencing the exercise data reported yesterday (09 Sep 2024) that Support told them the problem would be fixed in 3 days. Hopefully, this information is correct and we only have to wait a few more days until we see all our exercise data back in the Fitbit app.
BTW, there's an update to the Fitbit app that started rolling out to include the new Pixel Watch 3. However, I haven't seen if the update includes any fixes. It would be great if it does.

Hello @AngeParBrow
I believe there's an issue on the Fitbit side that is affecting our exercise data. There have been multiple users reporting issues with their exercise data not showing up in the Fitbit app or disappearing. I have also experienced my exercise data disappearing.

Hello @Leah_C
Hopefully, the Fitbit app will allow you to manually add your workout. I've seen some users report that they were having problems manually adding their exercises in the app.

Today, I am unable to record my weight and it is impossible to reach weight data. I tracked my exercise, I see data recorded in the app but calorie burn data and map of the exercise is missing. I don’t know what is going on 😞

It's a joke, can't rely on fitbit no more! training for a half marathon it's two weeks away and the data just doesn't match.

Exactly the same for me! I’ve only had my watch for about 6 months, my watch still isn’t tracking my KM’s but on the phone it is ( wasn't a few weeks ago) and now this problem!

I chatted with Fitbit support today because I am so frustrated with this issue. I was told: Regarding this issue, we already confirmed with our team that is now a known issue and our team is working on the resolution. A fix will be released to correct your data within the next few weeks. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, our team is now working hard to fix the issue. For what it's worth.

Thanks. I also sent in a feedback comment through the app but didn’t get a response. “A few weeks”? That is in addition to the few weeks that this has been going on. Not a great response. I have been happy with all of my Fitbit products over 10 years but this issue is making me seriously consider changing to a new tracker.

The next few weeks? It's already been at least two weeks. The data that is stored on the device will surely be gone if it takes a few more weeks.
