Charge 6 - no usable water resistance?

ANSWERED

I had two charge 5's and one 6 die quickly, when I presumed they had basic water resistance and wore them showering, swimming and occasional hot-tubbing. I stopped all that and the current charge 6 is far more than a year out.

Is my experience typical? No water resistance? One possible complication, occasional kettle bell work might have hit the tracker and upset the seal?

Let me help your questions about the way you can use your Fitbit device while it gets in contact with water.

While the device has a certain level of water resistance, there are some scenarios where this feature may no be enough. For more information about this topic, see Can I swim or shower with my Fitbit device? I appreciate your time in this process.

I swam regularly with my Charge 5 when I had it and still do with the 6. Never had an issue. I don't shower with my tracker on.
