New Charge 6. Not able to receive messages or calls on Fitbit. I have done all the steps in suggestion and manual. Restarted. Updated. I’m about to return it.

Just to clarify, you'll only get a notification for a call on your Charge 6. The Charge 6 doesn't have a mike meaning you can't take a call on the device.
You should be receiving a notification for texts and should see the message on your device.
