Charge 6 not charging anymore

My 3 month old fitbit charge 6 is not charging anymore, I've tried all relevant troubleshooting but no response please help.

Thank you for letting us know that your Charge 6 is not charging. 

  • Could you tell me if your monitor reacts at any time? For example by connecting it to the charging cable. Does it make a good connection? Does it vibrate? Can you see something on the screen?
  • How long do you charge your Fitbit?
  • How do you charge your monitor regularly? Do you connect it to a computer or use a wall connection?
  • Are the green lights on the back on? 
  • When you press the button for 3 seconds, does it vibrate?
  • Have you cleaned your monitor contacts recently? Confirm if you have completed the recommended steps here.  How do I clean my Fitbit device?

Did you try to restart your Charge 6?  If you haven't restarted it, try these steps: 

  1. Connect your Fitbit device to the charger.
  2. Please remove and re-insert it quickly.
  3. After a half-second pause, repeat this removal and insertion motion 3 more times, all within a span of 8 seconds. 

After cleaning the contacts and performing the restart connect it to the charging cable on a computer and leave it for a few minutes to check if it charges and reacts.
