Charge 6 not counting steps even after re-start

I bought a new charge 6. It stopped counted steps. I re-started the device but it still is not counting steps. What should I do.  Return the device?

I had to restart mine twice and it's now tracking steps again. Hopefully you got yours to work, too.

Sorry to see you're having issues with your new Charge 6.

Sometimes, it can take more than 1 restart try to get the device "unstuck". If your Charge 6 isn't counting your steps after a couple more tries and you're still within the return window, then you should return it to where you got it for either a replacement or a refund.

If you're outside of the return window, contact Fitbit support (<-- click link) to find out what are your options under warranty.
