I have had to get my Fitbit Charge 6 two times previously (am going to have it get it replaced again) due to issues with the screen (see attached screenshot). Is this normal or have I just been getting some bad ones? I am careful with only the usual wear from using it daily.

In my experience, the Fitbit devices only last around 18months. My 4th Fitbit, a 6, purchased in October 2023 - has just died. I cannot charge it, I cannot reboot it - prior to the battery running out the software was up to date and it showed no signs of any damaged. This has been my experience with every single Fitbit device I have owned - and I guess the question is whether to invest in a longer lasting more sustainable device at a higher price or keep spending $150-$200 every 18 months. In 6 years spent $600 - and I'm 100% sure some other, more expensive devices, would have outlasted the Fitbits.

The new one I need to pick up from where I purchased it will be a replacement of a replacement of a replacement with the one being replaced lasting less than six months.
