My Charge 6 has stopped notifying me of calls, messages, reminders, WhatsApp's. this has been going on for about a week now. I have updated and reset the apps. My Bluetooth is working fine and is connected, all appropriate boxes are checked but it still won't work.

Same here. When I first set up the C6, it was buzzing with texts & notifications since I don't always sense my phone. After some recent update probably, it no longer vibrates.  I can swipe on the tiny screen to see I have messages, but that defeats the whole purpose.  It's been at least a month for me.

Update: it was user error on my part.  I had "Do Not Disturb" turned on. 😯

Oh no, but lucky you! At least you have found the problem. I double checked mine just to make sure and I don’t have do not disturb on. They’re just not coming through. I will try again tomorrow! ☹️

Hello @Blou8106

Sorry to see that you're having issues with getting notifications on your Charge 6. This help page has links to the recommended troubleshooting steps, depending on which platform you're using: How do I get notifications from my phone? (<-- click link)

You might also try doing a force stop on the Fitbit app on your phone then clear the cache to see if that might help with getting your notifications on your Charge 6.

I have a new Charge 6 fitbit, replacing an older Charge 2.    The new fitbit receives text messages very irregularly, perhaps 10% of the time.    I've tried restarting iPhone and Fitbit repeatedly, and see no evidence that Bluetooth connection is bad.

Suggestions?

Hi @pz322 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Allow me to help you to receive notifications on your Charge 6.

Notifications may skip or stop occasionally for several reasons. Verify the following:

  • Your phone must be within 30 feet of your Fitbit device to receive notifications.
  • You won’t see text notifications if you have the conversation open on your phone. Your Fitbit device shows new, unread texts.
  • You won’t see notifications if you turned on settings such as focus, do not disturb, quiet hours, or driving mode on your phone.
  • You won’t see notifications on your Fitbit device if you turned on the do not disturb

or sleep mode setting. To change these settings, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?
  • If device lock is active on your Fitbit device, tap your Fitbit device's screen to unlock your device.
  • Check if notifications are turned off on your device. To turn them on, see How do I turn my Fitbit device’s notification setting on or off?
  • You're using multiple Bluetooth devices. If you have multiple Bluetooth devices paired to your phone, you may have trouble using more than one at the same time.
  • The connection between your phone and Fitbit device dropped.
  • Make sure the Fitbit app is allowed to run in the background on your phone.
  • Your device was syncing. Syncing can sometimes prevent or delay a notification.
  • You just updated the Fitbit app. Restart your phone and try setting up notifications again.

If any of the above takes place, it may arrive that you won't receive notifications.

I hope this pieces of information will be helpful for you !
