Hi all - my charge 6 is 8 months old. I haven't been using it for a month or so, now the screen is blank and unresponsive. The USB cable button reset trick only gives me a short flash of the Fitbit logo and I can't check if there is a firmware update as the charge 6 is not currently paired with my phone - when I try to pair with my phone I get to the step where I need to enter the pairing code from the charge 6 and of course the screen is blank so I have nothing to enter.
Any advice?
Thanks in advance!

Hi, @Alooshpoosh , sometimes when the battery has died completely a Fitbit can become unresponsive, so make sure it has had an opportunity to charge. Plug it in to a socket known to be working using a working plug that will accept the USB cable. Give it two hours charge, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging, and then try the reset procedure again a couple of times.
As your Fitbit is no longer paired to your account you won’t be able to change the clock face, which sometimes fixes so the blank screen issue. So in this case if the reset continues to fail to solve the problem your next step would be to get in touch with Fitbit Customer Support on Contact.fitbit.com .

Thanks- I've tried all the things you've suggested so I think your last suggestion of contacting customer support might be my next port of call.
I'll give it one last, long charge tonight and hope for the best.
I appreciate your help.

Hi
my charge 6 has done exactly the same thing today! Although I was wearing it when it happened!
it started vibrating as the screen started flashing, then went to an unresponsive white X in a red circle and then when I tried to reset it, has just gone blank, doesn’t vibrate and doesn’t charge!
I’ve tried charging (even though battery was near full)
I’ve disconnected it from app/phone, deleted app and reinstalled etc.
tried every type of reset but nothing!

Good luck! Please do not hesitate to get in touch with Support (link above) if the last charge doesn’t do the job. As your Fitbit is only 8 months old it is important to make contact with the team that can help you get up and running again.
