i am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the Charge 6 Fitbit watch. Despite following the manufacturer's instructions for proper usage, the device has consistently failed to accurately read my heart rate. This has resulted in misleading data that has negatively affected my ability to accurately monitor and manage my fitness goals. I am disappointed that a device touted as a reliable fitness tracker has failed to meet my expectations, and I would appreciate assistance in resolving this issue as soon as possible.

I agree! During my workouts, sometimes even at rest my Fitbit charge 6 doesn’t even register my heart rate at all and only displays the two dashes. Multiple chats with Fitbit have only told me to reboot the device and pretty much that’s all.

I have the same issue, my HR is 9-10bpm lower during exercise on my charge 6 than every other device i have measured it on (including various gym equipment and medically rated HR devices).

Hello @carolynbuttress
Do you see a green light on the back of your Charge 6? That's the heart rate sensor. To check, place your finger across the back of the device. When you lift your finger, you should see a green light.
If you don't see a green light, double check that it didn't accidentally get turned off:
If the Heart Rate feature is enabled and you still don't see a green light, try turning the feature off, then back on. Sometimes, this will get the sensor working again.
If you still don't see a green light, then you should contact Fitbit support (<-- click link). If they confirm that you have a defective device, they will let you know what are your options under warranty.
