Charge 6 not remembering countdown

Hi,

I just bought a charge 6, and I'm using the countdown function to measure rest time in the gym. But everytime I exit the timers app, to check the time or something else, I have to enter my countdown time again. Previously I had a charge 4, it would remember my last used time. Is this function still available?

I don't think this is an option on the Charge 6. Mine doesn't save either
