Charge 6 not showing up in add device for child

I bought a fitbit for my child (12yrs old), we setup up the fitbit app, but the Charge 6 is not showing up when we tap on add devices on my child's phone. Is there a way to get the app/phone to connect to the fitbit?

Hi @bbtinkerer a child can only use the Ace series, not the other styles of Fitbit, per the COPPA law. Your child must be 13 in order to use the Charge 6.

Thanks. Shucks, wish this was posted on the box somewhere or maybe it was and I missed it??? Guess my kid will have to wait a few months then.
