Has anybody received a bad Charge 6? Mine will not connect and I've done all the reset and turning off bluetooth and phone crap. (Charge 4 works fine but screen is now faded, and yes I know how to change the brightness but it wont help anymore.)

A warm welcome to the forums @John649.
Thank you for sharing the inquiry regarding Charge 6. I'm sorry to know that it didn't connect with your phone.
Please, in case you want to set up the new Charge 6 with the phone that was previously connected with Charge 4, make sure to forget this last one from the Bluetooth.
Confirm that you have followed all the tips listed in this article to set up a new device.

Thanks for the info but I figured it out, the little quick start guide and manual should tell folks to go to your online account and remove the current device, like my Charge 4. Then you can remove the fitbit app on the iphone, turn off iphone for 10 seconds, turn it back on and download fitbit app. Go to your laptop/device and log onto your dashboard and it will say at the top, you want to install a device. Walla! Go to your iphone fitbit app and open it and it all works.
I think the main problem is the quick start guide does not also explain how current folks can upgrade to a new device. No where did I find to go online to the dashboard and delete old device.

Also in the link you sent me to this article the links to upgrading has you going to tapping the Today symbol, which does nothing like pull up devices. Its bogus!!!
Happy new year!
