Charge 6 not tracking Spo2

About a week ago my 2 momth old charge 6 stopped tracking ny nightly Spo2% values. I saw some the reason mightve been that i wasnt on the latest version of the fitbit app and there was a fitbit app update, but even after downloading that its not tracking. I tried downloading the manual Spo2% tracking app on my fitbit and it says its downloaded but its not appearing on my fitbit itself, all other apps download and appear normally. Anyone run into the same problem or know how to fix it?

Welcome to the community forums @dreet.

Thank you for taking the time to share the details regarding the difficulty with SpO2. Sorry to know the inconvenience.

Fitbit SpO2 app is automatically added for users in select countries. Make sure your device is running the latest version. For more information on updating your tracker, see How do I update my Fitbit device? For more information on the availability of Fitbit SpO2, see fitbit.com.

If you removed the SpO2 app from your device, you can reinstall it with the Fitbit app on your phone:

  1. With your Fitbit device nearby, in the Fitbit app on the Today tab > upper left corner > your device image.
  2. Tap Gallery > Apps tab.
  3. In the list of apps, tap SpO2 > Install > Install.

You should be able to see your SpO2 trends in the Health Metrics tile in the Fitbit app on your phone. To get SpO2 information, you need to:

  1. Wear your device for at least a full day, including to sleep at night.
  2. In the morning, open the Fitbit app and tap the Health Metrics tile.
  3. Swipe up to find the Oxygen Saturation (SpO2) tile.

If you still don't receive your SpO2 information, please follow the steps listed here below:

  1. Verify if your Fitbit profile has the correct location and time zone.
  2. Open the Fitbit app, tap your profile icon > Charge 5 > Apps > SpO2.
  3. Make sure all the permissions are enabled.
  4. Restart your tracker to refresh its performance.
  5. Tap Today at the bottom of the Fitbit app and pull down on the screen to force a manual sync.
  6. Wear your tracker slightly higher on your wrist to sleep and sync it with the Fitbit app once you're awake to check your details.

Hello! Is it available in Russia? I have Charge 6 but cannot see Sp02 in the list off apps

Hello @DMKV

The SpO2 score is one of the 5 Health Metrics based on data tracked by the Fitbit device during sleep. It's not a separate app.

I don't believe that it is approved for use in Russia.

In Fitbit support I was told that I need to find an app on play markets and install it. That is why I’m asking. Hardly to imagine Russian government takes care about such small features that can be used in non-professional non-medicine device. May be this feature just blocked in Russia and not available.

Hello @DMKV

If that's what Support told you, that was incorrect. As far as I know, there isn't a separate SpO2 app for Fitbit devices.

I wonder if Support meant to look for a 3rd party app in the Google Play Store that can track SpO2. However, you wouldn't be able to install it on your Charge 6. You can only install Fitbit apps on your Charge 6.
