My Fitbit is not capturing my heart rate. Is it a bug.

Hello @Shwetasen

Do you see a green light on the back of your Charge 6? That's the heart rate sensor. You can check it by placing your finger across the back of the device. You should see the green light when you lift your finger.

If you don't see the green light, the first thing to check is the Settings tile on your Charge 6 and make sure Heart rate is turned on.

  • Swipe down from the clock face until you get to the Settings tile (last one) and tap on it
  • Swipe up until you see Heart rate and make sure it's turned on. If not, tap on it to turn it on

If Heart rate was turned on and you still don't see a green light, you might have a defective device and should contact Support (<-- click link). Complete the prompts until you get to the option to chat or call.

Hello @Shwetasen

Thank you for the additional information.

At this point, I think the next step would be to contact Support. They can help determine if your device is defective.
