I have been a supporter of Fitbit since 2015. I even pay for premium! I have always used the basic trackers (like the inspire) but recently the clip that holds the band broke so I decided I would upgrade a bit and I purchased the Charge 6 about 6 months ago. There have been on-going issues with my Fitbit the entire time I have had it. First it was tracking all of my runs as walks during marathon training which was a huge bummer. And I was unable to edit the exercise. Then it was inaccurately calculating how far I was running making me think I was running further then I actually was. And now, it won't calculate my miles or pace at all! On top of that, the edit exercise feature still does not work. I have taken really good care of it, and tried all the troubleshooting suggestions and it continues to function very poorly. Just sharing this because this is it for me. I will be leaving Fitbit for good and switching to an Apple Watch or a Garmin. I'm sad because I liked it so much over the last 9 years! I am not sure what happened recently but the product has steadily gotten worse over time and I will not be recommending Fitbit to anyone anymore.

I have had the same experience, but I bought a Charge 5. It's defective. After 3 months it won't hold a charge. After sending me 3 replacements in 9 months, I asked for an upgrade. Spent countless hours on the phone, them insisting on troubleshooting each time first. Then fighting for an upgrade. Finally got it. Only to receive another Charge 5. I'm trying to get a refund now. I'm done with Fitbit and their crap customer service. I've escalated it 3 times already and was promised an answer last monday ( a week ago). You guessed it. No response. Once Google bought Fitbit, that was the end.
