My spo2 had quit working plus I never get notified of messages. I'm really not happy with this charge 6. Anyone else have these problems?

Hello @Jenny0122
Sorry to see you're having problems with your Charge 6. Have you had a chance to restart your Fitbit, either from the Settings menu on the Charge 5 or by using the charging cable that came with your device? That's usually the first troubleshooting step to try.
Which messages are you not receiving? Are they the notifications from your phone?
Let us know so we can do our best to help you.

I’m having the same problem. It’s been tracking my SpO2 levels just fine, but I haven’t gotten any data for the past three nights.

RiekoC,
Another thread says to get SPO2 readings it is necessary to either install an SPO2 clock face or “the SPO2 app”. Then there are comments about the app not being available. On that thread I inquired if this is an Android vs iPhone issue. I also asked for the name of the app creator. It is too soon to get a response yet.

Hello @rlopez1950
I saw your post on the other thread. I'm not sure if the issue is related or specific to Android or iOS users.
The SpO2 app creator is Fitbit, I believe as this is a Fitbit app. The apps for the Fitbit devices should be available in the Gallery. However, I have seen user posts mentioning that they don't see the app.
I received an update to the Fitbit app this morning (14 Mar 2024) to version 4.12.1. Although I haven't seen what are the changes for the new app version, I'm hoping that this update is restoring the SpO2 app to the Gallery.

RiekoC, Thank you for your reply! I did find an answer on my iPhone. From my today I selected my face in the upper right corner. Then I selected Fitbit Settings. Then I opened Connected Apps. Then Available Apps. Scrolling down there was SPO2 app. Selected. Tapped Install. I received a reply the app was not compatible with my device. So the answer is SPO2 app is not compatible with my iPhone. This is disappointing. I just purchased the Charge 6 four days ago. My number one reason was for the SpO2 capability. I also found out another reason for purchase also is not available on it: Floor climb count. Other Fitbit devices have it and I failed to find the Charge 6 does not. Again thanks for the reply.

Hello @rlopez1950
Sorry to see that SpO2 is apparently not compatible with your iPhone. Out of curiosity, what version of iOS version do you have on your iPhone?
The altimeter, which is used to track floors, was not included in either the Charge 5 or 6.
I hope you find the right fitness tracker for your needs.

RiekoC,
Thank you. As to the altimeter I must say I compared so many FitBit products I lost track of the fact it is not in the Charge 6.
My iPhone 12 Pro Max is running iOS 17.4.
I will not look for a different fitness tracker. My iPhone has an altimeter. I can measure my blood oxygen at home. It is inconvenient to carry my oximeter in my pocket. I usually wonder about my blood oxygen when I get out of breath out on a trail. That was my motivation. I’ll continue to go without it.
Regards,
Robert

Hi @rlopez1950
Thank you for explaining your needs. I'm glad that you will be able to use the altimeter in your iPhone to track floors.
Just to let you know, the Charge 6 only tracks SpO2 during sleep and not in real time. So, it's good that you can track your blood oxygen using your oximeter.
