My wife got a replacement Charge 6 after the one she bought first from Amazon was having problem with its screen. The old one picked the language from the Fitbit app on her phone correctly, which was Spanish, but the new one started to show everything in English after if was set up, and it seems there's no way to change it.
In the past, changing language from Fitbit website worked, and I used it with my Charge 5, but this option is no longer available. It says "You have to change something before hitting the button Save". I do change the language and the country in the form, but it just keeps saying it when I hit the button Save, and it doesn't preserve my changes.

Hi @McLovinHawaii and welcome back to the forums.
I appreciate your message, and I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 6 is still in German.
I'll be happy to suggest other steps in order to change the language.
May you try to change it on fitbit.com ? How do I change the language on fitbit.com?
(After selecting your country and language, press submit and then manually sync your device).

Thank you for the tipp and welcome 🙂
As i'm living in Germany, I didnt chage the country, changed only the 'language by region' to 'United stated (english)', then synced manually, as you said.
After that Charge 6 has switched to english language.
Then stopped the fitbit app on my iphone, started it again and synced manually again.
Charge 6 was again in german and on the Fitbit settings page 'language by region' was again German.
Not sure, maybe the Fitbit app is overwriting the settings on the Fitbit page?
Then changed Country and State on the Fitbit page to USA New York (what is not true), then 'language by region' from german to United stated (english), but let the timezone to Berlin, synced, now its in english finally.
Lets see, how long it will stay so.
But it looks, that the Fitbit app is overwriting the Fitbit settings on the Fitbit page.
Anyways, it would be nice, if you could decouple Country and UI language from each other and implement the possibility to change the UI language in the Fitbit app directly, without the need to do it on the Fitbit settings page.
Thank you.

Back again, today morning was the charge 6 again in german.
Checked the settings in the Fitbit app, and location was set back to Germany, i think, because of Auto location setting:
Also the language on the Fitbit settings page has been set to german, even coutry is USA:
I think, disable the auto location and set US there is not a good idea, right, maybe this will disable the GPS monitoring (GPS settings are set to phone, as the charge 6 gps functionality is mildly said not the best)?
Any tips?

Hi @McLovinHawaii and welcome back to the community. Thank you for the images sent and for your troubleshooting efforts as well.
I'm really sorry to know that the issue still persists. This is not the experience we want for our customers, and I understand your feelings about all this situation.
I think you are in the right way (to disable the auto location). This is explained in the following help article : How do I change the language on my Fitbit device?
Please try it that way and don't hesitate to tell us how it goes.

Alright, disabled the auto location and set it to United States:
Fitbit settings:
Now Charge 6 is in english language.
Started an outdoor walk, to test the GPS functionality with success.
Seems to work with this workaround.
Would please still report that to the devs, so they could decouple the location from the UI language?
Thank you.

Update: Charge 6 is still in english language.
That workaround is working well for now 🙂
