I have been doing a lot of walking outside. And several times in the middle of my walk, my charge 6 will **ahem** down. I first thought it was running out of battery really quick, but when I get home and plug it in and it turns back on, I am showing battery life anywhere between fifty to eighty percent still. There’s no way to turn it back on when I am out on my walk so I lose that data. Any ideas what is going on?

@MsJenn28 Is this a recent issue? Is Charge 6 running on the latest OS? I noticed my device had a recent update. Had a similar issue before where it shut down and stopped logging but when I plugged into charge, it showed sufficient battery remained. My workout was half logged, cut short.

Yes it is recent. Just in the past 3 weeks. It has done probably 4 times. Really annoying.

@MsJenn28 have you tried restarting your Fitbit? I had the same problem once and that fixed it.

I have done the restart several times. Again today, 5km into my walk and it went dead. Finished the the last 3km, got home and plugged it in and it turned on and showed battery life of 48% still
