I have been having this issue for a while now previously with my Luxe and now with my Charge 6. Fortunately, Amazon refunded my Luxe, which was still under warranty. I’ve now purchased a new Charge 6, hoping for a better experience but unfortunately, I’m still encountering the exact same sleep tracking issues.
For example, yesterday I went to bed at 9:30 PM and woke up at 5:00 AM. However, according to my Charge 6, I went to sleep at 5:43 PM and woke up at 3:00 AM. Seriously? How am I supposed to make sense of that?
To make matters worse, Fitbit Support has not responded to any of my emails for the past two weeks. In the meantime, I’ve done my own research and found that many other users are facing similar issues, with the same generic “solutions” being offered, none of which have worked for me, or for others, it seems.
To be clear, I actually like the device itself. But the fact that it can’t accurately track sleep and that I can’t get proper support, is incredibly frustrating.
I’d really appreciate guidance on what has changed, what I can do next, and why this is happening.

The same issue has occurred twice in the last week. The start time is good, but it has been waking up a full hour before I do. This morning, I work up at 6:03 but it said 5:03, and another day something similar happened. Last Wed. it said I woke up at 4:53 when I woke up at about 6 am.

Hello @Baldacchino , @Missiv12
I'm not sure what's going on with sleep tracking and the Charge 6. As you've noted, there are several users reporting issues with sleep tracking.
Have either of you tried editing your sleep log in the Fitbit app to correct the times? If you did, what were the results?

Hello @RiekoC
I tried to edit my sleep log but even the app doesn't seem to be working properly. The results don't make sense and I can't be sure that they're correct. What I need is for Fitbit to stop ignoring my emails, and tell me how to fix this issue, especially because I'm not the only user experiencing this!

It worked okay for several days. I say okay, because I did not fully agree with it. At least I was getting all of my readings. Yesterday mine didn't log sleep at all. This morning it did similar to yours, only logged partial, less than three hours when I slept for at least 6.I edited the sleep log, but that didn't do anything except show what I told it. Now I notice my oxygen app says it is not installed, when it did actually start working somewhat for a couple of days.I say somewhat because it actually worked, reading was lower than all my other devices and doctor gets, but it worked. Please, no canned responses. I have tried every suggestion and every fix, checked and made sure everything was turned on correctly yesterday after getting no data.
Did I get a faulty device? Going to try and return it, but not sure if I can. I hate spending as much money as I did for something that has never worked well at all. I'm sure my health care provider will have zero use for my data.

I don’t think this is a device issue, it seems like something on Fitbit’s end. My Luxe worked perfectly for over a year and a half, then suddenly the sleep tracking became completely inaccurate. I recently switched to a Charge 6, and the exact same issue is happening again.
Also, has anyone had any luck getting a response from Fitbit Support? I’ve reached out multiple times with no reply, and I haven’t seen any support activity here either.

I haven't had any much help at all out of Google support over the years. I've owned two Pixel phones, my current is a 7 pro. At one time they had a camera advantage, but that is gone, so my next probably won't be a Pixel. I was hesitant about purchasing the Charge 6, but thought maybe it would be okay because it was actually a product that wasn't Google from the ground up, I did not do diligent research because it was the only device that had all the features I want and actually need. Come to find out, of all the features I wanted, only one seems to work, the ECG. Hopefully another company will come out with a device that has the heart features the Charge 6 is supposed to have.
