My charge 6 randomly just quit working today at 1:18pm. It still had 45% battery, but stopped syncing with my phone, the screen went black, the lights on back are not flickering, and it's not vibrating when I hold down the side button or tap the screen. It had no changes when I put it on the charger and I can't make it do anything (sync, update, etc) via the app.
Any suggestions?

That is definitely not normal behavior for your Charge 6, especially not seeing the lights on the back of your device.
By any chance, did you look to see if your heart monitor was accidentally turned off? You should find it under the Settings menu on your device. If your heart monitor is turned on, but you still don't see the green light on the back, that would indicate to me that your device is defective. You should contact Fitbit support (<-- click link). Once they confirm that your device is non-responsive, they should be able to tell you what are your options under warranty.

I can't access my device settings because it's not syncing with my phone anymore, but the heart rate monitor was on up until everything quit syncing.

I'd contact customer service... They should replace it (at least that's what they said when I spoke with them)

Same here! I read all of the instructions on Fitbit help and tried the 3 presses on the charger. Still black with no response! Argh... I have only had it for a week!

Since you've had your Charge 6 for only a week, you probably should return it to where you got it for a replacement.
