Charge 6 turns off when not charging

My new Charge 6 won't turn on once it's unplugged from the charger. The screen immediately goes black and it won't respond. I've tried all the fixes recommended on this forum and in the user manual -- restart, hard reboot (with the 3 button presses), cleaning the contacts, etc. Nothing works. Please help.

Thanks for letting me know this situation in regards to the battery of your Charge 6.

I appreciate you following these steps to get this improved. My best recommendation at this time would be for you to follow the steps in this article, specifically in the part 'What are tips to extend my Fitbit device's battery life?', and let me know how it goes once you've tried this.
