Charge 6 - unable to set up with phone Pixel 6

It worked fine for months. But since this morning there is a big problem! Sleep recording still worked. They were still synchronised. But then it was no longer possible to transfer the recordings. The green synchronisation indicator stopped halfway through. It did not move even after several minutes. So it was cancelled. In the meantime, I went through all the options mentioned in the help section. Several restarts of the mobile phone as well as Charge 6 (with charging cable as well as restart on the screen. Even searching for a mobile phone from Fitbit did not help. No mobile phone found. The mobile phone recognizes Charge 6, but does not connect.
What could be going on? What else can I do?

Hi there @bf05! So good to see you in the Community.

Thanks for letting us know about the situation you are having trying to pair your Charge 6 with your phone and for your efforts to try to solve this issue.

Were you able to solve this situation? If not, I suggest you to try this:

  1. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone; wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  2. Restart your Charge 6.
  3. Turn your phone off and back on.
  4. Remove all other Fitbit devices from your Fitbit account.
  5. Remove your Fitbit device from the list of connected Bluetooth devices on your phone or tablet:
    1. On your phone, tap Settings Bluetooth.
    2. Tap the information icon or gear icon next to the name of your Fitbit device.
    3. Find the option to forget the device.
  6. Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app. Note: Before you uninstall the app, verify that your phone is running a supported version of Android OS. If your phone is on an older version, you won’t be able to reinstall the app. For OS requirements, see Fitbit-compatible devices.
  7. Try setting up your device again.
