Charge 6 unresponsive despite full battery

Good afternoon all,

last night my charge 6 became unresponsive (blank screen) I presumed it was the battery but I hadn’t been given any low battery warning which I usually would get. I proceeded to charge it up this morning and no joy, the screen doesn’t light up or the watch itself does not vibrate. I have tried the plugging in and holding the button 3 times with no joy. When I check on the app on my phone it says it has 95% battery, but it just says looking when trying to sync. I also cannot change the clock face as it says it cannot connect to my watch. App is all up to date too. Is there anything else I can try? Thanks for reading!

I faced a very similar issue after the last firmware/app update.

Before that, my Charge 6 only had a syncing problem (no data was uploading correctly), but since 4.49 update, it started to drain/shutdown randomly regardless of the battery level (sometimes at 72%, 50%, or 30%). After that it only boots like after a full discharge.

So I suspect the update not only broke syncing, but also damaged the battery management logic.
