Charge 6 walk not counting in activities?

Iv received this new replacement under warranty and it’s been one of the most tricky trackers to get working once I eventuality got it linked to the app it basically reset many settings that iv disabled for both my original charge 6&5 both was still recording walks with no issues. My walks no longer adds to ‘exercise days’.? Never had this issue with any other charge tracker. How can the tracker/app record steps/distance but then not add the exercise.? If i manually add exercise (walk) with time/distance both steps/distance increases even if i add exactly the same time as the walk.? Iv turned off both tracker/app auto recognise exercise settings this was to stop the tracker counting to save battery life. Puzzled.?

Hello @robworkingout

Do I understand correctly that you are manually starting & stopping a walk on your Charge 6? Then, when you check the Fitbit app, you're not seeing your walk under the Exercise tile?

If this is the problem you're seeing, it looks like the known bug affecting our ability to see completed workouts in the Fitbit app is causing the issue.

I've seen recent Moderator posts acknowledging the exercise data syncing issue and that the team is working on fixing the problem. They also mentioned that an app update will be rolling out in the next few days. Since those posts were from last week, the app update could rollout some time this week.

Although the app updates tend to roll out in wave, the last couple of updates seemed to roll out to users in about a week's time. Keep check your app store for the update and install it when it's available.
