Charge 6 won't charge

Hello,

I've had my Charge 6 for about 3 months and it has completely stopped being able to be charged. I even bought a new charger and tried all sorts of wall plugs in different outlets in case that was the problem. Cleaning the watch back didn't work either. The battery is completely dead. Is there anything else I can try or is it just garbage at this point?

Hi @MariahAnn ! Warm welcome to the Community !
I appreciate your message, and I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 6 is not charging.
Thank you for your troubleshooting efforts.

Could you please confirm if you already tried to perform a restart of your tracker, as shown in the following help article ? How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Hi my wife the same problem put the watch back on charge then on the USB plug at the charger end you will see a very small black button on the USB press the button 3 times and your watch should come back to life and start charging again.

I've had a similar experience. My brand new Charge 6 stopped working less than a month after purchase. I've gone through three replacements so far, but each one was refurbished and came without any accessories. The first two replacements didn't work at all; as soon as I connected them to the charger, the battery would drain immediately and wouldn't hold a charge. With the third replacement, I couldn't even test it because it came without a charging cable or any other accessories. Despite being told I'd receive a new device after sending back the second defective one with all the accessories from my original purchase, the third replacement was also refurbished and lacked everything needed to use it. I'm still patiently waiting to get a resolution. It has been a month and a half now.

If you haven't already, you might want to consider contacting Fitbit support for a warranty claim. They may be able to assist you with a replacement or repair. I hope you won't have to go through the same ordeal as I am now though.

I'm having the same problem. When I try the restart, the watch either shows 0% charge or 100% charge. But as soon as I remove it from the charging cable, it's dead again.
