Charge 6 won’t connect or update

My charge 6 won’t update, sync or let me connect it to my phone or the app. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling. I removed the device from the app not it won’t find the device again. Unpairing and repairing the Bluetooth. Nothing seems to be working I just keep get errors.

Let me help you with the connectivity issues you are experiencing with your Charge 6. I appreciate all the troubleshooting steps you have already tried.

You should be able to pair your Charge 6 back to your Fitbit app by following the troubleshooting steps listed in our help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? below the section "troubleshooting"

Hi David,

I'm having a similar issue with my Charge 6.  It stopped syncing so I went through the usual steps (turning BT off/on, rebooting phone, removing and reinstalling app) but nothing seems to work.  When I try to connect/add the Charge after reinstalling the app I get a generic error message, "Something went wrong.  An error occurred. Please try again"

Restarting the Charge itself finally resolved my issue.....wow, painful process
