Fitbit 6 won't link with gmaps. Both are open/running.

Welcome to the Fitbit community, @Treeguy007!
Sad to hear that you're having an issue with Google Maps on your Charge 6.
As a first approach to troubleshooting, please have a closer look at 'Why isn’t Google Maps working on my Fitbit device?' following the link below to hopefully get Google Maps to work on your device:
How do I use Google Maps on my Fitbit device?

I'm having this issue too. It worked once but I can't get it to work again. I've tried everything on the support page you linked. disconnect the app, restarting Bluetooth, restart googlemaps. Start directions before pressing maps on fitbit. Start it after. Nothing works! Every time Fitbit can't connect and just reminds me they both need to be on to work. They are... Please help

I was having the same problem. Seems to work now that I turn on bluetooth, start my trip on Google maps, then tap the Google maps on the Fitbit Charge 6 to connect.

I had the exact same issue, what fixed it for me was making sure both the Fitbit app and the Google maps app both had location services set to always on, as well as notifications fully allowed on both apps. When Google maps was set to "while using" for location sharing it did not work even literally while using the map, but not directions from Google maps show on my Fitbit. Hope this helps someone.

-Also Fitbit if you could allow editing of posts so that I look less like someone who can't spell.

I have this working intermittently now, here are my tips
1) Turn on phone Bluetooth
2) may not hurt to sync watch with phone app to ensure the connection is established
3) open Fitbit watch Google Maps app
4) on the phone Google Maps app, find your destination and select the Walking icon
5) Instead of selecting Directions, select Start
6) Back to the Fitbit watch, tap the yellow TAP TO OPEN. The watch should vibrate once the directions are transferred to the watch.
