Charge 6 won’t sync to iPhone

My charge 6 won’t sync with my iPhone, tried rebooting everything without success.. also pending update.

had a blip with battery life as this is a new charge 6 and night before last it dipped significantly but was ok this morning.  Anyone else having these problems?  Could it be to do with the new update ?

Hi @CJ1732 , elcome to the Fitbit Community!

Let me recommend you to read the following article in the one you can learn more about the feature and alfso read some recommendations and information to improve your syncing situation: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

I also suggest you to check if you hsve the latest version of your Charge 6 like indicated here.

I'm having the same issue.  Tried all the steps offered below with no luck.

Hopefully you were able to sync yours

Eventually got it to sync even though I had already tried most of the recommended steps.. I had to restart it twice and now it’s asking it’s asking to link to the apple health app which I don’t like doing but it just won’t work unless I do that which makes me think if it using the data from apple health app which is free why am I paying for a fitbit subscription.. I think this is the last Fitbit I will have as they just do not last  and then just shut down nd so many problems with them since the migration to google.  Love them easy to use but I think when this one dies I will be Looking at an alternative

I hope you manage to get yours sorted, it took me a couple of hours

Tried all these, eventually after 2nd restart it synced.. so many problems with syncing these days really frustrating

thank you for responding though

Hi, @CJ1732 , have you got your Charge 6 syncing yet?

If a restart doesn’t work, I find the quickest way to force a sync is to log out of your Fitbit app and then log back in again (but do be sure that you know the email address associated with your Fitbit account and the password!).  A log in should automatically force a sync.

Otherwise the next steps are to work through the instructions explained here in the link earlier shared, except that I never recommend taking the step of unlinking your Fitbit to your account unless you have already spoken to Fitbit and had their specific instructions.

Let us know how it goes!

Same here & it’s been happening weeks. I’ve not even had the Fitbit long. ATM it won’t even manually sync anything other than steps! It also can’t be the update as I’ve not updated mine.

I ended up taking my charge off the app and reinstalled it. I hadn't
synced my watch in a few days and walked a lot so my watched stopped
counting and I lost all my steps.
I will now log into my app daily to clear off my watch.

I was also wondering why I couldn't see my watch linked to Bluetooth, and
apparently it's because it uses so little energy it doesn't register.

Everything working well now!!

I’ve only had mine since end of Oct as well. Mine hasn’t been syncing & now it’s the worst, my last sync for 2wks it didn’t sync anything other than my steps!

Mine is only 2months old & it does show on my Bluetooth.
